BE A NEIGHBOR

We want to connect with neighbors to create conversation and build friendships.

We have been generating many ideas about how we might do this. We want to try something and see how it works. The first step into this effort is to create unique posters that invite people to remember the simple acts of neighboring that can encourage connection with those around us.

COME BE PART OF THIS VENTURE.

Help create posters via an old handcrank printing press.

Help distribute posters.

Find ways to display posters in your own home or business.

Be part of the effort to connect with our neighbors.

We invite you to join us on an intentional prayer walk throughout the Stadium business district and neighborhoods, praying with particular focus in areas where crime or vandalism has occurred.  We hope to invite other Stadium area churches to join with us.  We're planning this as a monthly event, but would love to see it happen more frequently down the road - and to be replicated in other districts and neighborhoods.  Bring your dog, your kids, or a friend. We'll break into small groups of not more than five or six.

We anticipate this happening mid-week in the evening.

Merrill Gardens Welcome Team

This winter, Merrill Gardens at Wright Park, the senior living complex under construction next to us, will be opening its doors to up to 159 senior residents. When these new neighbors move in, we’d love to be prepared with a variety of ways to connect with them and welcome them to the community. If you have a heart for these seniors and would like to help craft the vision for that outreach, we invite you to join this team.
